Yep, I’m admitting this….

Here are some takeaways from watching a Reality TV show when you are sick.

1. These beautiful people need to improve their communication skills. For so long this group has been able to use their looks to get what they want, and it’s so important to be able to use your voice and communicate with body messages to express yourself. Looks don’t last forever, so I’m passing along a few communication skills to remember for the moms in my group to remember to bring into the teaching of your beautiful kids.

2. Verbal messages — Learn how to use real, caring, meaningful words — and don’t use them on every girl or boy you meet

3. Voice messages -Use caring statements supported by a caring tone that is warm and kind to make a person feel special — again — don’t use this on every girl or boy you meet

4. Body messages — The way a person holds their body, eye contact, and facial expressions all add to or can detract from your message. Make sure you are aware of how you are holding your body during communication.

5.Touch messages — Appropriate touch, don’t making the other person uncomfortable by touching them inappropriately, is another way to communicate a caring message.

6. Use action messages (like making someone coffee), being there to support someone, or the act of giving are also great ways of positive communicating.

Learn these before you leave the house while you still live with your momma.

That is all for now.
